Founder & Director

Rania Alshareef

Alberta Level 2 Early Childhood Educator candidate

Rania is the Founder and Director of Renaissance Montessori Academy. She has dedicated 8 years to teaching and 10 years to education, with a Bachelor of Education, Early Childhood Education and Special Education training, and a strong background in Montessori education.

Her passion for Montessori comes from a simple belief that children are capable, curious, and deserve an environment where they can learn, explore, and grow at their own pace. Her vision for RMA is to provide a warm and welcoming Montessori community for families in Calgary while staying true to the principles and legacy of Dr. Maria Montessori.

Rania is actively involved in the day-to-day program and enjoys working closely with children, families, and the RMA team. She believes that having a caring, experienced, and supportive team is an important part of creating a positive early learning environment.

Outside of work, Rania enjoys coffee, hiking with her Chow Chow, and travelling, especially to hot springs.
